NOTD - Starry Christmas November 2010

Really love this. It is created using Brown NP from Sasa Tinnie topped with......drumrolls ...a cheap $1 glitter from Toa Payoh. The glitter is amazingly fine and yet pigmented. Really love this, as the color graduation is subtle. Hated the fact that due to graduation, the tips are thicker and hence tend to be uneven. Also due to the various layers, it tends to dry slowly and hence more skeptical to bumps. Love it nevertheless!

NOTD - Growl the leopard November 2010

Must do this mai again. I used my fav Sasa brown as a base, did a corner with the metal pink from The Skin food, added my $1 glitter from Toa Payoh, did up the black using toothpick and than added gold (From my China NP) in between. Next time will skip some of the products, as it makes my nails a scary mix of colors. Love it still. Not sure if it looks like Leopard prints.

NOTD - Flashy Pink November 2010

There is this Skinfood shop at Novena. I hardly ever popped in, but was so bored one day and just went in. I had seen the Pedicure series being raved on makeup alley and was so happy it finally reached Singapore. It was $7.90. Not cheap at all. The effect is good, applies so smoothly, so super easily, and is so super bright. However I think I do not really love the effect. Still prefer my creams.

NOTD - Yellow Christmas November 2010

Had a sudden urge for baby colors and bought the Face Shop Yellow. It is incredibly bright in real life. Very unwearable. I am very sure, taxis would stop at one wave of my taxi inspired mani. So ugly. The Face Shop nail polish are also quite thick , good for nail art , but it does not apply very evenly on the nails. I have to do a thick layer. Yucks. Sticking to my beloved Sasa Tinnie for now.

NOTD - Coffee Tea or Mi November 2010

I bought this nail polish near the clinic at Farrer Road. I can hardly remember the brand but I know it is a Philipino brand. Love the color, as it is so office apporpriate. The color is named Cuppacino and the name is so apt. However it does not really apply too smoothly.

NOTD - Rose of Toa Payoh November 2010

The name sounds horribly cheap. It is named so because the roses were from Toa Payoh, 3 for $5. It was sold at those pasar malam China nail polish type of stalls that sometimes set up stalls at MRT. Not only is the price cheap, the design actually lasts very well , stays put and stays flat. What's more it glows in the dark! But don't really care for that . Wished the roses were colored too. Really love this combi. Went to Toa Payoh last week and this rose set was sold out. Ugg! Love this design as it tones down the crazily bright pink which can look a bit childish.

NOTD - Black rose November 2010

Really loved this combination and this is my fav brown nail polish from Sasa. Is so classic and makes my hands look so fair. Due to the color I can complete the manicure in one minute, so quick! Love love ...must get backups!

NOTD - Royal Purple November 2010

The purple was one of the first nail polish I bought from Sasa. It was a dupe for an OPI color I had on at that time, and I was SO happy to find a nice and cheap dupe. I created an accent nail , with another Sasa color, which had flakies. I think it was a dupe for another Opi color. However the flakies were not impressive.

NOTD Golden Rose November 2010

Product Used: Sasa Tinnie (no number code / name) scented with Lavender, Top Coat is Sally Hansen Dries Instantly, and Roses from Chinatown

It looks way better in photos than in real life. I found the intense pink too cute for my liking, hence I added on the gold roses and now it looks so lovely. If you noticed, my third finger has 2 roses. Greedy! This is because there was a scratch and I had to add a small rose to cover up the flaw.
